3D COMPUTER ANIMATION Fall 2001

For our fifth and final project, we had to animate a logo. I decided on ELECTRIC WAVE PRODUCTIONS. The backstory: in the summer of '93, I created a new comic book character- Electric Wave. Not knowing how to go about selling my story, I put it on the backburner. Fast forward 7 years later, I thought it was a cool name to use for my films. Thus, Electric Wave Productions was born. I knew, eventually, I would animate it someday. That day came in the Fall of 2001.


00-00-00. Opening shot is pitch black.	00-01-14. Lightning begins to strike.

00-02-23. An "E" begins to become visible.	00-03-09. The base of the "E" extends.

00-03-16. More lightning strikes.	00-03-26. More letters begin to appear.

00-04-02. The "E" becomes clearer.	00-04-18. The other letters, "L-E-C-T-R-I-C," become clearer.

00-04-29. Electrical current continues throughout.	00-06-07. Water begins to rise.

00-07-06. Water swells forming the letters "W-A-V-E".	00-08-16. Water surges from the tips of "W" and "V" like a fountain.

00-08-16. Water continues spraying forth as it hits the electrical current.	00-08-27. Water + Electricity = Sparks, which begin illuminating surf.

00-09-14. Underneath the water surface, "Productions" becomes visible in the sand.	00-10-13. Sparks continue as "Productions" grows clearer.

00-11-13. Water stops spraying and sparks fizzle out.	00-14-02. ELECTRIC WAVE PRODUCTIONS.
